Spalted Ambrosia Maple TableTop made from Urban Lumber
When we first moved into our house a few years ago two of the trees were in a bad state. We had them taken down, but I kept four or five larger sections to have milled up instead of being trashed. Years later we needed a table top for our office so I used some of the maple we slabbed up. I added brass inlay to the ambrosia beetle holes and any other imperfections in the wood. I think it came out pretty well. Many thanks to LogtoLumber for the expertly milled lumber.
